Cooperative FAQs
1.
What is LetsFly?
LetsFly is a cooperative organization that
is dedicated to providing economical aircraft ownership, discounts, benefits and other resources to our members throughout
the country.
2. How does a cooperative compare to
other popular ownership programs?
A cooperative is a completely different business model. It was
designed so that the local owner or manager manages the system. The
popular fractional programs for example charge a minimum management
fee of $500 to well into the thousands per month. It is much more
efficient to have local people manage the system rather than a central
system manage the people. To put it another way, the cooperative
system serves the people rather than the people serving (paying
exorbitant management fees to) the system.

Joining a Cooperative FAQs
1. Why are other aircraft ownership programs more
expensive than LetsFly?
LetsFly is dedicated to making
flying affordable. LetsFly is not a "middle man". Our
cooperatives are "subsidized" through low interest financing, focus on the members,
are locally owned and operated, utilize the resources of all it's
members, are cooperative rather than competitive in nature and
collectively obtain better discounts and benefits, etc. These and
other "built in" savings and benefits make it easy and affordable for
nearly everyone to own and fly a new aircraft.
2.
How
much does it cost to join shared ownership in a LetsFly cooperative
aircraft?
Ownership starts with an initial
investment of $2900.

Owning a Cooperative FAQs
1. What are the requirements to become a local cooperative?
Fill
out an application
and receive approval.
2. Why can't I start my own co-ownership or flying club without the Letsfly Cooperative
System?
These traditional ways of doing business in
aviation yield mediocre results. Just ask anyone who has participated
in these organizations. The LetsFly Cooperative System
has adapted cooperative principles to an aviation business plan and has
produced the following results: Better capitalization, financing and
utilization; lower insurance, marketing and advertising costs, as well
as better group discounts. In addition, the cooperative efforts and
resources of members, manufacturers, and other providers lower the
cost of flying further and provide extra income earning capabilities.
Members may also receive discounts and fly much newer aircraft than
they would in a traditional setup.
