LetsFly Cooperative Overview
The LetsFly program can be summed up in the following
equation:
Owner + Aircraft + Cooperative = Win Win
This simple formula has been time
tested and has produced revolutionary results.
LetsFly Cooperative Aircraft Ownership is patterned after a four-plex
in real estate. The idea is to provide a reasonable return on
investment for the individual who starts the cooperative and at the
same time offer a truly economical way for pilots to fly and own an
affordable share in an aircraft.
Unlike other forms of co-ownership,
LetsFly cooperative owners and members do not have to reinvent the
wheel and bear all the associated costs and hassles just to enjoy the
benefits of aircraft ownership. LetsFly procures financing, insurance,
provides operating agreements and assists in finding and assembling
cooperative members.
What exactly is revolutionary that no one
else in the industry is doing?
Let's look at an example:
Many local cooperatives have started
because the aircraft owner was having trouble selling their plane.
The owner put the aircraft into our cooperative based model offering
shares to members for as little as $2900 down and $28 per flight
hour. The shares quickly sold out and the owner produces a positive
cash flow on the aircraft. The members (and in many cases, the
owner) enjoy the most economical ownership and flight time
available. A truly Win Win situation!
Others have used the formula (O + A +
C = WW) and started a co-op for a variety of reasons, such as:
Learning to fly economically
Putting the fun back into flying
An economical way to build flight time
To simply enjoy the freedom of flight more often
Own multiple aircraft for less than the cost of owning one
How do I get started?
With hundreds of local cooperatives
