I bought this plane three years ago in Indiana, a very rare, extremely low time PA 28-E. She has always been properly cared for by qualified mechanics and stored indoors. About 445 since major, 2400TT airframe, Engine was replaced @ 1955hrs with a 160 hp, Lycoming 0-320 D3G. All AD’s checked and secured. All cylinder compressions were in the mid to upper 70’s at last annual. WE installed a Garmin GNC 300xl GPS with a King KI-202 indicator and Mid Continent MD 41-444 annunciator. Garmin GTX 320 transponder with a new Trans Cal SSD 120 altitude encoder wired in parallel with the Garmin GPS. New United altimeter. Good original paint. Aircraft always hangered. Air conditioning removed, belt pulley and alternator changed to the larger belt and 60 amp alternator. Overhead power vent system retained. (Very nice on those hot ramps) Wind scoop in Pilots window. New Fleece seat covers. Some newer carpet. The original bow tie style control wheels were replaced with rams horns due to an AD. The rams horns could use either powder coating or leather wraps. Tires are tired but serviceable.Terrifically reliable and economical plane (7 to 8 gph), a great IFR time builder, which is what I bought her for. Annual is current until 8/09. IFR cert until 8/10. I'm asking 38500, have closer to 50k in the plane. Feel free to ask questions, I or my mechanic will do our best to answer.
